Insights and Reflections about the poem "Desiderata by Max Ehrmann"

"Be yourself. Especially do not feign affection," a line taken from the poem Desiderata by Max Ehrmann that has caught my attention.
As Max Ehrmann wrote the poem Desiderata, he wants to convey the basic principles of life. Each one of us is different from one another. Different in terms of expressing ourselves and also the path we are taking in. The poem teaches us to just be ourselves and just live your life to the fullest inspite of the hindrance or struggles that we might face. We must also learn to accept our failures and take the opinion of others thinking that they can help even in simplest way. Every person in this world has their own explanation for everything.
Comparing yourself with others is like not believing in your own capability. Many of us, loves to compare themselves to the ones they idolize, which in turn can lead to their own frustrations because the wasn't able to achieve what they envy to the people they idolize. This poem also teaches to just be yourself. Enjoy every moment in your life. Treasure every achievement you will get. Plan every action you will, for you will not be disappointed of what the result will be.
We should also strive hard to reach our goals in life. Even there are many hindrance blocking up your way to the finish line, life must go on. One should prove others what they got and what they can do just to achieve what they want for their future.

In reading this wonderful poem, I have learn so many things that I should apply in my daily life. I must be myself every time, everywhere. I should put my whole heart in to whatever path  I am taking.
